A toastmaster gives some advice

A Greystones Toastmaster at a non-toastmaster conference gave a few words of advice to a nervous presenter.
The presenter put this testimonial on Facebook.

I feel it necessary to say a public thank you to somebody that I met this weekend. I’ve never quite understood what toastmasters do, but now I ‘get it’. I had to give a talk and I really am terrified of public speaking (believe it or not). I can have a full but completely invisible panic attack before I have to do it. Colin Byford gave me all of 2 minutes of his time and some really good advice. I will appreciate it for years to come. Thank you.

Needless to say we are pointing her to her nearest club.
