First Meeting of 2016

We have our first meeting of 2016 tomorrow evening and it would be great to see as many Toastmasters as possible attend on the night. Bigger numbers always make for better meetings.

This is a great time for new members to join so do encourage friends and family to come along to a meeting. Also consider sharing our FB and Blog posts on your social networks.

Your committee have already met and are putting in place plans that will make Greystones an even better club for you. To assist us we want to have a members “Open Forum” on the 25th of Feb.

The Club Tall Tales is on the 11th of Feb – with the Area Final on the 15th hosted by Bray Toastmasters.

Thomas, our VPE, will be looking for entries to the Tall Tales and also judges for other clubs. Already Bray and Dublin 18 have been on and we will be looking for them to help us out to. Please be ready to enter and help out when requested on Thursday.

Spring Spectacular – Jan 18th at 7:30pm

This is the third in the series of “Spectaculars” organised by Powertalk in association with Division M, Tara Toastmasters, Dublin 18 and Dublin South and supported by the District 71 DLT. The objective is to help Toastmasters enhance the Toastmaster Experience for themselves and others.

The Riverside Conference

A welcome and a half awaits you, as Toastmasters from local Limerick clubs greet you where a genuine ‘Céad Míle Fáilte’ is in store.

Below is a link to the Agenda for Thursday’s meeting. While you are on the site why not access your own Commincation and Leadership Chart and set some goals for the next 6 months. I aim to get my ALB (hence I will be grammarian on Thursday!) If you need assistance in setting goals speak with your mentor or our VPE.

See you Thursday!

Regards

Alan Murphy
